How Laser Cutting Works?
Laser Cutting
Laser cutting process involves focusing a laser beam to a small spot which has sufficient power to produce a laser
Gas
The tube is filled with C02 and other gases like hydrogen, nitrogen, and helium. The mix of these gases is activated by diodes or an electric discharge that emits energy in the form of light.
Focal Length
The critical factors which govern the efficiency of the process are the focused spot diameter and the depth of the focus. At all times, an accurate distance is maintained between plate and nozzle.
Heated Material
To complete the process, the heated material reacts to oxygen and begins to burn and to oxidize. The reaction expels more energy and assists the laser beam.
