Laser Cleaning

Laser cleaning is low cost and Eco-friendly laser application process which removes rust, oil, rubber, oxide, paint and other contaminants from the surface of the material. The process is called laser irradiation in which the substrate is heated to reach temperature close to melting point of the particular material and flatten any debris. Traditional cleaning process require chemicals and solvents that may be hazardous to environment. Laser cleaning application use no chemical and solvents so it is much safer and less hazardous. Laser cleaning requires a pulsed fiber laser( 50 Watts or more).

How Laser Cleaning Works?

Laser Cleaning

Laser beam is focus on the top of the surface of the substrate.

Precision

Output power and wavelength are controlled to achieve sufficient temperature that is enough to vaporize the material.

Radiation

Radiation occurs when material reacts to exposure of laser radiation. It turns particles on the surface into dust and gas.

Particles

Dust particles will be left over that's then vacuumed away. The underlying layer remains cool and keeping the original material untouched.
Laser Cleaning Process

Laser ablation occurs when a material on substrate is remove with laser beam without damaging the substrate. The laser creates something similar to small explosion and contaminants absorb the energy quickly and heatup.
